5. EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT

An Expectant and New Parent education curriculum and credentialing program should be created to provide information on early childhood development best practices and resources. Annual (school-based) childhood development review sessions should be provided for parents and children at ages 1 through 5. Model guidelines should be developed for creating and managing (public and charter) school-based daycare facilities, including recruiting, training, and evaluating caregivers. Expanded reliable, efficient, and economic daycare should be provided that incorporates early-childhood development best practices. An AI inter-active speaking teddy bear and tablet to provide brain stimulation and speech development should be made available for infants and toddlers who do not otherwise receive such stimulation during their routine daily care.
